The Story & Background
The morning and evening adhkar (remembrances) are a collection of specific supplications taught by the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to be recited at the two ends of the day. They serve as a spiritual armor, establishing a deep connection with Allah when waking up and before the transition into night. Historically, these were never missed by the Prophet (ﷺ) or his companions, regardless of their circumstances.
Practical Application
The ideal time for morning adhkar is between Fajr and sunrise, though scholars say they can be recited anytime in the morning. The evening adhkar are best recited between Asr and sunset.
